synopsis

As part of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Girls and Women

Since 2015, Shiori Itō has been challenging the archaic structures of Japanese society following her sexual assault by a powerful man close to the Prime Minister. Alone against everyone and faced with the failures of the media and judicial system, the journalist conducts her own investigation, determined to break the silence and bring the truth to light.
