Every year in March, the Cinémathèque is delighted to actively participate in the Luxembourg City Film Festival, the Grand Duchy’s must-attend cinematic event. Present since the very first edition 15 years ago, the Cinémathèque is one of the Festival’s iconic screening venues — welcoming audiences for premieres, documentaries, retrospectives, meetings with international filmmakers, and passionate discussions about the seventh art.

Alongside other iconic locations in the capital, the Cinémathèque plays a central role in the Festival’s mission: offering audiences a rich, diverse, and inspiring program through exclusive premieres, masterclasses, national productions, and a cycle dedicated to young audiences.
