synopsis

Ruy Duarte de Carvalho, poet, novelist, and filmmaker, discovers that his father left papers in the Namibian desert that could help him solve a mystery from 1923. Through the quest for the “Englishman’s papers,” we are taken on an epic journey across the stunning landscapes of southern Angola, from the turn of the 19th century to the end of the 20th.
