In the south of France, a group of jealous boys, the “mistons,” make life impossible for a young couple in love, Bernadette and Gérard.
Truffaut en a fait un poème lyrique où ne manquent point, en hommage fervent, les citations de Vigo et, surtout, de Jean Renoir. Je dis citations ; le style est bien trop personnel pour que l’on parle d’influences.
