synopsis
Frank Webber est inspecteur de police à Scotland Yard. Un jour, il se dispute avec sa fiancée. Celle-ci décide de suivre un jeune artiste-peintre dans son atelier, pensant qu'avec un autre homme, sa vie sera différente...

L’accompagnement musical est assuré par le Luxembourg Philharmonic, sous la direction de Frank Strobel. La composition est signée Neil Brand, avec une orchestration réalisée par Timothy Brock.
I’ve seen Blackmail many times but never like that – Neil Brand’s score was amazing, it picked out so many details that you might miss without the music being there, and it really brought the film to life… this odd coincidence of people and light and chemicals trapped in this medium but somehow being conjured back to life before our eyes and ears in that performance was extraordinary.
