synopsis
Light and dark, melancholic and funny, self-centred and universal, the film is all that and more, a first feature skilfully executed by Trier.
Cineuropa
Drawing inspiration from the young-artists-in-angst tales of Godard, Truffaut and the French new wave, Joachim Trier's "Reprise" is both a charming homage and a vibrant work in its own right.
Philadelphia Inquirer
Anders Danielsen Lie, gives a performance that's as distinctive as any in recent memory – casually witty, remarkably graceful and yet terrifying in its explosiveness.
