synopsis
Les nombreuses aventures amoureuses de Brad Allen, compositeur et playboy, agacent sa voisine, Jan Morrow, architecte d’intérieur, qui partage avec lui une ligne téléphonique commune et entend toutes ses conversations légères. Après que Jan, qui n’a jamais vu Brad, ait déposé une plainte contre lui sans succès, Brad décide de la séduire en se faisant passer pour un rancher texan sincère et honnête…
