synopsis
A lost cat, a giant frog and a tsunami will help an unambitious salesman, his frustrated wife, and a schizophrenic accountant save Tokyo from an earthquake, and give new meaning to their lives.
Ce premier long-métrage de Pierre Földes est l’enfant idéal de la poésie, de la drôlerie et de l’atrabile. Une merveille.

This tone of somnambulism (mixed with Murakami’s irony, humour and relentless pathos), achieved thanks to the blurred style of the drawing and the apparent calm with which the plot develops, makes the film an equally luminous and desolate experience.
