Every era gets the zombie it deserves: the colonial anxieties of the 1930s, the shopping mall of Romero's America, the class warfare of contemporary Korean cinema. The zombie is an empty vessel, and each generation of filmmakers fills it with its own fears.

Volume 1 of this conference (in case you missed it) traced the monster's origins, history and its mutations on screen. Volume 2 asks what comes after the collapse – what kind of society the living rebuild, who is allowed into it, and how we learn to coexist with the Zombie.

Who Eats Who – Volume 2 is a standalone conference, open to first-time ghouls as well as to the survivors of Volume 1 who are justifiably hungry for more.
